Help your students develop academic skills

Learning and Teaching Excellence in LTL has a team of experienced and dedicated staff who can help all your tauira consolidate and enhance their academic skills needs.

The Academic Success team offers a wide variety of introductory and advanced workshops on study skills, time management, addressing assessment tasks effectively, academic writing, research design, data analysis and management, to name but a few.

What would we like you to do?

Please make your tauira aware of the available support. Especially mention the array of workshops that have been designed for the benefit of all tauira. Access details about available workshops and events. Scheduled workshops appear in the Calendar and Upcoming Events on Te Kete Wānaka.

Reach out to the Academic Success team to discuss how they might support you in developing the academic skills of your tauira. They can tailor existing workshops or resources to your course or design new workshops and/or resources to suit your students and your course assessment. Workshops can be held during class time or as optional extras for your students.

Finally, please make students aware that there is an Academic Success Drop-in from 10.30 - 11.30 am each weekday in L003.
