Education Media
We support academics to produce rich, world-class media content for teaching or academic and professional communications.
Our Education Media team is here to help you produce world-class media content for teaching or academic communication.
We offer four levels of service (outlined below), making it easy for you to find the proper support based on your needs.
Whether you are looking to create simple, self-produced content, need assistance with editing, or require full production support, our structured approach ensures you get the right resources and expertise.
You can use our advice and resources to produce your own audio and video content.
There is a low barrier to entry at this level; you can leverage our tips, documentation, and guidance to use the tools already at your disposal – your smartphone, digital camera, laptop, or the Video Lab - to create your own content. We can also lend fit-for-purpose gear to help you get the job done.
This level focuses on keeping things simple, growing your own skills, and using our advice and resources to independently create and upload media-rich content for our tauira.
Check out the documents and links below to get started!
In this scenario, you film it, and we help to edit and deliver it!
You may plan and capture content for your tauira, then seek our assistance to refine it. We will provide you with advice on planning and scripting (if required), assistance assembling your footage, and support with the integration of b-roll and editing techniques to help enhance your content.
This approach ensures you produce your own material, while benefiting from professional input in post-production.
At this third level, we will assist you with all stages of production, using professional-grade lighting, sound, camera, and editing equipment.
Working independently, or alongside you, we will gather and curate multimedia contents, enabling you to produce high quality introductory videos, tutorials, podcasts, and more…We provide support in planning, scripting, presenting to the camera, and curating content to ensure highly effective and lasting materials for our tauira.
We also have a studio space equipped with a teleprompter, camera, professional lighting set-up, multiple backdrops (including a green screen), and sound equipment to capture content in a friendly, professional, and effective manner.
This level requires planning, takes more time, and may form part of a larger project, or be a standalone initiative.
We can also go out into the field to gather content, as well as assist in the creation of interactive content using H5P, 360 cameras, drones, and more.
As above, we will assist you with all aspects of production, using professional-grade lighting, sound, camera, and editing equipment. There is also the ability to live-stream content remotely.
Again, this level requires planning, takes more time, and may form part of a larger project, or be a standalone initiative.
As well as the above, we can also offer advice on the following…
