We are excited to announce that the inaugural Te Whare Pūrākau | Learning, Teaching and Library (LTL) Open Day will be held in Ivey Hall on Wednesday 8th March. We invite you to join us and learn how LTL can help you GROW at LU.

During the LTL Open Day, you can explore and learn more about the vast array of resources and services that LTL offers our LU whānau. Take one of our library tours, chat with our expert librarians, careers advisors, learning advisors, and meet “Ivey” our AI Robot ... plus there is a free sausage sizzle!

We will also be running a range of activities and workshops including:

  • Library Scavenger Hunt
  • Match the LTL staff members to their pets competition (with prizes)
  • Writing at University workshops (students)
  • Referencing 101 workshops (students)
  • Teaching Quality workshops (academic staff)
  • Research/Open Access Publishing advice (academic staff)
  • Speaking to Camera workshops (students and staff)
  • Heritage displays
  • Art tours
  • Tech for teaching and learning demos (360 cameras, drone, 3D-printing, stop-motion video, drawing tablets)
