Library ANZAC Display

18 April 2024

Dean O’Connell

This exhibition is a tribute to my family members who served their country in a time of war during the 20th Century. Two hundred and fifty-four men and women in my family served across the major conflicts: The Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902), World War One (1914-1918), World War Two (1939-1945); and the allied occupation of Japan in late 1945 (J-Force). The seven men, whose pictures and memorabilia, feature in the exhibit are representative of those men and women, including the 37 who never returned home and are buried or remembered in Commonwealth War Cemeteries around the world.

This display will run until Tuesday April 30th.
