Flit or flutter over to catch this exhibition before its gone!

29 June 2023

Where: Ground floor of library, Ivey Hall

Come and be wowed by beautiful specimens of butterflies and moths from Lincoln University’s Entomology Museum, accompanied by a special volume from the library’s special collections compiled by George Hudson, 1867–1946, one of New Zealand's pioneer naturalists.

Featured are species of delightful New Zealand moths alongside some very colourful, large moths and butterflies collected in the Pacific Islands by former student of Lincoln University, Lionel. J Wood.

Sadly, Lionel was killed in action in the Second World War, after which his parents donated his personal collection to the University.

This mini exhibition won’t be around for long, so come over and check it out in a breaktime!
