Updating links to LTL resources on your course page
15 February 2023
A lot has happened since you last delivered your Semester One courses, including the launch of Te Kete Wānaka, the LTL website. The changes to the website mean links to specific pages and advice have changed.
While you are making other changes to your course page, and we know there are a few given the LMS Enhancements project, please take some time to update the links you had to Learning, Teaching and Library (LTL) resources and/or add some new ones. The links you used in Semester One 2022 on your course page or in your assessment instructions will return a 404 error as shown in the image below.
This is obviously not very useful for your students. To help you update links, we have identified some of the most recommended pages and have listed them with their new links below:
- Referencing, including APA - https://ltl.lincoln.ac.nz/learning-and-research-skills/writing-and-referencing/referencing/
- Types of assessments, including Essays, Reports, Annotated Bibliographies, and Oral Presentations - https://ltl.lincoln.ac.nz/learning-and-research-skills/writing-and-referencing/types-of-assessments/
- Strengthening your writing, including how to use sources, paraphrasing, and quotes - https://ltl.lincoln.ac.nz/learning-and-research-skills/writing-and-referencing/strengthening-your-writing/
- Academic Integrity - https://ltl.lincoln.ac.nz/learning-and-research-skills/getting-started/academic-integrity/
We encourage you to take a moment to explore Te Kete Wānaka, and in particular the Learning and Research Skills section, for any other pages that your students may find helpful as they work their way through your course content and assessment.
If you are struggling to find specific content or a page from our old website, please contact LTL staff via AskLive for assistance in finding where it has moved to on Te Kete Wānaka.
