Preparing for Semester 2

“Be prepared” is the Scouts motto … but it applies equally well in the teaching game. No matter what you teach or how you teach … taking the time to adequately prepare is such an important way to ensure that your teaching progresses as smoothly as possible throughout the Semester.

You may also find that if you prepare effectively then you might actually save time through fewer student enquiries and have a happier student cohort. Confusing and disorganised course information will generate a plethora of student enquiries and concerns, which will only place more demands on your already limited time. So an investment of time now may actually generate more time for you during the semester.
