Championing Digital Accessibility - Join Us for Global Accessibility Awareness Day
Help celebrate the 14th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), on Thursday 15 May.
The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion.
Digital accessibility refers to the ability of people with disabilities, impairments, or long-term health conditions to independently consume and/or interact with digital (e.g. web, mobile) applications and content.
In today's interconnected world, digital accessibility is more than a necessity - it is an essential part of ensuring that everyone has equal access to information, resources, and opportunities.
GAAD offers us an opportunity to reflect on what else we can do to make an inclusive world.
Find out more about digital accessibility on the GAAD website, and check out how digital accessibility removes barriers and unlocks the possible.
